As a LHDN e-invoicing middleware provider, we were excited to pitch our AREMA solutions at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC)’s National e-Invoicing Initiative Business Networking Session with Service Providers, in collaboration with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) at Grand Hyatt, Kuala Lumpur.

Our Manager for Technical Engineering, Sean Ng Kuo Sean, shared about our four LHDN e-invoicing models for MSMEs, SMEs, Retailers, and Corporate Bodies:

• Enterprise Model – Single-Tenant Database with RMiT and industry compliance (for banks, insurance companies, and MNCs)
• Premium Model – Integration with ERP or Accounting Systems (e.g. SAP, Sage, etc)
• Standard Model – Self-service web portal with manual entry or bulk upload
• Retail Model – POS / EDC that prints e-invoice receipts with LHDN QR code for customers to self-generate e-Invoice anytime, with white-labelling available

Besides pitching, several topics were also discussed during the event, including technical insights, IRBM’s E-invoice Software Development Kit (SDK), and digital certificates to enhance readiness with welcoming remarks by Datuk Ts. Fadzli Abdul Wahit, Head of Digital Transformation from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

Over 600 representatives from 200 service providers, both local and international, attended the event, virtually and physically.
