We are thrilled to share the success of the Malaysia-Japan Economic Association (MAJECA) joint conference pre-programme, held on 31st July at Finexus Towers, Cyberjaya. The event brought together honourable Japanese delegates and MAJECA members, totalling around 50 participants, to explore the dynamic developments and opportunities within Malaysia’s digital ecosystem.
The session began with opening remarks from Datuk Seri Mohamed Iqbal, MAJECA Vice-President, followed by moderation by Sivavenayakam Velayutham, MAJECA Executive Committee Member in the introductory session.
One of the key highlights of the event was the sharing by Wan Murdani Wan Mohamad, Vice President of MDEC Digital Industry Acceleration. He outlined MDEC’s contributions to tech advancement, talent development, and ecosystem facilitation.
Not to mention, Auni Alias representing Cyberview Sdn Bhd in providing insightful overview of Cyberjaya, emphasising its role as a thriving hub for innovation and technology.
The sharing session included Top Lim from FinHero, who spoke on its alternative credit scoring engine, Anna Yamauchi from Lumirous Sdn Bhd, on its one-stop fertility and reproductive health platform, and Ami Sugiyama from Secai Marche Sdn Bhd, on its farm-to-table supply chain for restaurants.
